Valerie Ward is a Communications Associate with experience in nonprofits and foundation relations. Valerie supports SCP clients by providing project management, newsletter development, event planning, strategic messaging, and media relations.
Before joining SCP in 2023, Valerie used her skills in communication at a human and homeless services nonprofit in Philadelphia. There, she contributed to the fundraising efforts through grant writing and strategic planning.
A Philadelphia native, Valerie received a BA and MS in Public Communication from Drexel University. Outside of the office, you can find Valerie taking long walks around Philly with her super mutt, Ziva, or cheering on the Eagles.
